Plaid MEP Jill Evans has welcomed Steffan Davies from Treherbert in the Rhondda on work experience to the European Parliament in Brussels this week. Steffan is a nineteen-year old student studying at Aberystwyth University.
Jill offers young people from Wales the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at the European Parliament.
Commenting on his time in Brussels, Steffan said,
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the European Parliament. It has been a great insight into the life of an MEP and I have learnt a lot from the experience. To see how other nations collaborate with each other to do the best for Europe was extremely interesting."

Steffan who is studying History and International Politics added,
"It has been a busy week in the parliament with important reports on CAP and structural funds in the agenda. Therefore I have been able to witness the great work Jill and her team do in fighting for Wales and how well respected she is through the parliament."
Jill Evans MEP said: "It's important to give young people from Wales the chance to see how the European Parliament works and how Wales can play its part. Young people are the real leaders because they can see the possibilities for Wales in Europe."
"Work experience like this is invaluable for young people, giving them an idea of what they might like to do in the future. It also helps raise Wales's profile and ensure that Wales plays a full part in Europe and I'm sure that Steffan has learnt a lot over this busy week."
