Plaid's Jill Evans MEP and North Wales AM Janet Ryder in Brussels for talks about European Commission proposals to open up the road haulage industry to competition. The Plaid politicians oppose the plans and want to ensure that Welsh hauliers will not be subject to unfair competition from companies based in other European countries who are able to take advantage of lower fuel prices and potentially less stringent safety standards.
