Plaid Cymru President Jill Evans MEP will ‘do the honours’ in Penmaenmawr today when she opens the party’s new town centre office and advice centre, alongside Plaid’s Aberconwy candidate Iwan Huws (at 2.30 p.m. Wednesday 23 February).
Jill Evans, who has represented Wales in the European Parliament since 1999, said:
“This new centre is not only a boost for the Aberconwy team, but will make Plaid even more accessible in the area. I’m very pleased to have been asked to open the office today as well as joining Iwan Huws campaigning for a ‘Yes’ in Aberconwy in the March referendum.”
Plaid Cymru candidate in Aberconwy Iwan Huws said:
“I’m glad that Jill Evans has been able to give her time in the constituency this week and that she’s here today to ‘do the honours’.
“We want to provide the best possible service to the people of Aberconwy and opening this office in Penmaenmawr will certainly help us achieve that.”
Ends.
