  • Plaid MEP sees 25 years of Antur Waunfawr progress

    Plaid MEP Jill Evans has visited Antur Waunfawr on Friday with Hywel Williams MP. Antur Waunfawr is a leading social enterprise providing employment and training opportunities for people with learning disabilities in their own community.

    After meeting Chief Executive Menna Jones, Jill said:

    “As well as the original Bryn Pistyll site, we toured both the Caergylchu commercial and community recycling facility based on the Cibyn industrial estate, Caernarfon and Warws Werdd, the furniture shop also at Cibyn.

    “I’m very pleased that Hywel and I were able to make this visit to see the vast progress made by Antur Waunfawr over 25 years, not only because of their role in the local community, but also the contribution they are making to the regeneration of the local economy.”
