Rhondda-based Jill Evans, Plaid Member of the European Parliament representing the whole of Wales, today (Friday 2nd February) visited Porth County School to show the DVD made about her work as a Member of the European Parliament. The DVD was made by Jessica Jenkins, Daniel Baker and Matthew Dentus, students from the school, and edited and produced at the Pop Factory in 2006.

Jill Evans said:

“I enjoyed this visit enormously. It was great to have the opportunity of showing it and discussing it with the three young moviemakers who filmed it and their fellow studentsin the Creative Arts and Media Studies Department at Porth County School.

The wealth of talent amongst our young people here in the Rhondda never ceases to amaze me.”
