Plaid Cymru the Party of Wales Deputy Leader Jill Evans MEP will be campaigning in Caernarfon on Saturday (10 January) against the Welsh Assembly Labour Government's intention to re-value and re-band property for council tax purposes.
As part of Plaid Cymru's campaign in Gwynedd there will be a stall at Caernarfon town centre on the 10th of January to when people will have the chance to sign a petition to voice their objections to the proposals. Cllr. Richard Parry Hughes, Leader of Gwynedd Council, Alun Ffred Jones AM and other councillors will also be present.
Jill Evans, who represents the whole of Wales in the European Parliament said:
"I am glad to offer my support to the Plaid Cymru councillors. These Labour proposals will affect Gwynedd more than almost any other area of Wales, with residents expected to contribute a further £1.75 million. Unfortunately, none of this will be available to Gwynedd to spend on improved services."
