  • I met members of the Welsh Local Government Association in Parliament to discuss the next steps for rail electrification.

  • I met Arwel Gruffydd, National Theatre Wales’s Artistic Director, who was speaking in a conference on 'Minority Arts - No Minor Issue: support for culture in minority languages'.

  • I met Welsh Higher Education to celebrate the new Swansea second campus in Brussels.

  • I participated in the panel session on Parity with Scotland at Plaid Cymru’s Spring Conference in Caernarfon.

  • I hosted a fringe meeting for Business Wales at the conference to discuss Welsh Energy policy and the EU’s Energy Union proposals.

  • My conference speech this year was on the subject of Wales reaching its potential through Plaid Cymru’s innovative policies.

  • I spoke at the launch of Shelly Rees-Owen’s general election campaign in the Rhondda.

  • I spoke at a public meeting in Llanidloes with Councillor Ann Griffiths to discuss Plaid’s anti-austerity policies.

  • I participated in a video conference with the National Assembly’s Enterprise & Business Committee and MEPs to discuss the European Fund for Strategic Investments, TTIP and the situation in Greece and the Eurozone Crisis.

  • I met Sam Parry a student from Whitchurch, Cardiff, at the European Parliament.

  • As part of the European Economic Area delegation I participated in the West Nordic Council Interparliamentary Meeting where trade issues and the seal products ban was discussed with representatives from Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

  • I had a tour of the Dwr Cymru site in Cardiff and discussed their future plans.

  • I met Tina Donnelly, Chief Executive of the RCN to discuss safe staffing levels and the potential implications of the TTIP for the NHS in Wales.

  • I participated in this year’s Earth Hour campaign by WWF by turning the lights off for one hour to raise awareness of climate change and saving energy.

  • I spoke at a 'Women’s Spirit Wales’ weekend study retreat on the subject of Climate Change and the EU’s position ahead of the UN conference in Paris in November.

  • I welcomed EU rules that will make Welsh roads safer with new lorry cab designs and stopping gigaliners on our roads.

  • I have campaigned in the Rhondda, Cynon Valley, Ynys Mon, Arfon and Caerffili.
