  • Attended Plaid Leadership count at St. David’s Hotel, Cardiff Bay

  • Guest speaker at Neath and Afan Merched y Wawr meeting in Neath

  • Guest speaker at Treorci Welsh Society, Rhondda

  • Attended Plaid Spring Conference at Ffos Las. Accompanied new Plaid Leader Leanne Wood on a visit to Amgen Renewables; member of a panel discussing Fiscal autonomy, hosted the President’s Reception and took part in the Leadership Team debate.

  • Panel member at the Institute of Welsh Affairs Conference on Wales and the Changing Union.

    In the European Parliament

  • Took part in a demonstration and conference marking the first anniversary of the Fukushima nuclear disaster.

  • Spoke in the Financial Crisis debate with Council and Commission Presidents.

  • Met with the Welsh Local Government Association to discuss Structural Funds.

  • Met with the Countryside Alliance.

  • Met with the Welsh Higher Education Bureau and a delegation from Welsh universities to discuss Horizon 2020, structural funds and regional innovation strategies.

  • Welcomed Liam Nagle from Rhondda to the Brussels office on work experience.

  • As group spokesperson on animal welfare issues, took part in the debates in the Agriculture Committee and submitted amendments on the EU's Animal Welfare Strategy.
