  • I spoke and voted in Parliament against the new EU GMO legislation that will allow governments to approve the cultivation of GMO crops. I called on the Welsh Government to announce their commitment to a GMO-Free Wales.

  • I attended the first meeting of the parliament Tourism Taskforce, as representative of the Greens/EFA Group,

  • I questioned the EU Commission on their forthcoming Tourism policy plans

  • I continued to campaign against the EU -USA trade agreement (TTIP) and criticised the EU Commission's refusal to delete the Investor State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) from the TTIP, despite the vast majority calling for that in a public consultation.

  • I spoke at Meirionnydd NFU Cymru County Conference on TTIP, GMOs and the cost of the crisis to farmers.

  • I welcomed the success of Welsh Water in obtaining a loan from the European Investment Bank.

  • I met the board members of Welsh Higher Education Brussels, comprised of representatives of Welsh universities, to discuss Horizon 2020 and education funding.

  • I met civil servants from the National Assembly in Brussels to discuss my work.
