  • Jill wrote to the European Commission to investigate whether the consultation on National Grid’s application for a new electricity connection to Ynys Môn had been carried out correctly.

  • Jill was a speaker at the European Parliament UK office’s conference, “UK/EU 40 years – the Welsh experience”. The conference took place in Cardiff.

  • Jill spoke at a conference arranged by UK Parliament, “The Future of EU funding in Wales” and highlighted how membership of the EU had been financially beneficial for Wales.

  • Jill invited to become an Executive Fellow of the Institute for Competition and Procurement Studies (ICPS) at Bangor University. The ICPS’ Academy of Procurement Professionals aims to promote Welsh procurement innovation internationally, as well as bring expertise on procurement to Wales from the rest of the world.

  • Jill visited Swansea University to find out more about their leadership and development programme for small businesses and to visit the site of the new Science and Innovation Campus.

  • Jill was the guest speaker at the Friends of the Earth annual conference in Dinas Powys.

  • Jill met with Sir Deian Hopkin to discuss WW1 commemorations in Wales.

  • Canvassing in Ynys Môn elections.

    In the European Parliament

  • Jill called for Welsh to be made an official EU language in the wake of a report by EFA on Europe's endangered languages and the need for more support for linguistic diversity.

  • Jill arranged for Deian Timms from Llangollen, to do work experience in her Brussels office.
