  • Met the Countryland and Business Association to discuss ways of stimulating the rural economy

  • Farm visit with the NFU to Ty Newydd Farm, Holywell - a dairy farm

  • Met Conwy Local Development Plan Campaigners to discuss concerns about housing developments. Wrote to the Language Commissioner asking her to intervene.

  • Visited Cogent Seating, Swansea to discuss European Union legislation on coach safety

  • Visited Swansea Community Farm

  • Published “The Eurozone Crisis: A Plaid Cymru Position Paper”

    In the European Parliament

  • Hosted a visit to the European Parliament by Gower College, Swansea

  • Arranged a meeting with European Commissioner John Dalli, responsible for Health and Consumer Policy, and Hugh Morgan, Chief Executive of Autism Cymru, to discuss the Welsh Autism Strategy – the first of its kind in the world.

  • Voted against allowing the transfer of personal information on airline passengers to the US Department of Homeland Security.

  • Continued work on the Parliament's Animal Welfare Strategy for 2012-2015


  • Visited Ankara on the invitation of the Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) to discuss the continuing oppression of the Kurdish people and the drafting of a new Turkish Constitution. A full report will be available soon on website.
